'Ekam, Son of Soil' Launch

Over the last decade Babbu Maan's star has been steadily rising in Punjabi and Sikh circles worldwide. Known for his traditional Punjabi music releases, Maan ventured into the world of cinema in 2003 and has since released two further cinematic successes.

His latest film, 'Ekam, Son of Soil' is opening in cinemas across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA on 23rd April, 2010. As the title suggests, this is a film that reverberates deeply in the current social climate of the Punjab, dealing with issues pertaining to agriculture and the dangers facing this industry.

We attended the press conference launch of the film in Romford, England to hear from the ordinarily press-shy Babbu Maan along with distribution partner, Kumar Heera.
